Absolute Insanity from the Post Office Squirrels

I got my uber sexy gifts from Fry today, though this worries me because he sent them to me a full week after I sent mine to him... And he's yet to get them. Hopefully they'll get to him tomorrow as I'm off work and can watch him open them.

They were wrapped in pretty paper and apparently there was a specific order to them which was clearly marked on the packages.
















Anyway the first one was filled with le awesome candies:b1 Yorkie bar, 3 Cadbury bars 2 milk and 1 twirl, and a British KitKat. The second I had trouble getting the wrapping off of due to some heavy duty tape but when I did get the shiney red paper off I saw none other than Lenore and Nightmares and Fairy Tails! And to conclude I got the Silent Hill 4 import CD which (if you're reading this Sarah) you've got to hear, though the second CD seems to just be this Japanese guy talking... not sure I get that but the music's good.

So yup. Not much more to speak of cept I did some work on the painting mom wanted of Meg and Cam.

I've got to say, Christmas was good to me... I got an Ipod, a 15 inch LCD TV (Sorry Fry =/), some silver earings, a red Brighton wallet, a new suitecase, a Game Boy Advance and 50 bucks from my family. Oh and VERY sexy Invader ZIM sheets. And from my friends I goooot...

All in all a very nice Christmas, I got to hang out alot with Daniel, Sarah and Ben. I only wish I'd seen John and Diana more over break but even so I did get to see them.

Hum.. wow now that I actually am updating my blog I'm not all that talkative.. um.. well I went to see Geisha last night, which I found to be really good. I'm looking forward to reading the book after I'm done with the others I've gotten.

Oh and just a random plug in... if any of you have an Ipod I highly recommend you subscribing to Ricky Gervais' podcast, it's freaking hillarious.

Well... I got The Island today and I'd really like to watch it so I'm gonna go... *ninja*

Oh and my boss gave me his tie.

This weeks been pretty top. Monday, I went to the post office to send out Fry, Sohi and Scott's gifts. Then hopped by McDonalds with Daniel for a McFlurry and saw a REALLY odd needlepoint sign that said "Give us this day our McBread." Or something to that effect, and then I went to work.. yays.

Tuesday Daniel and I decided to go to the mall up in Spartanburg and happened across this little warehouse Flea Market and, thinking we were lost, we decided to investigate further. It was actually a really good find, they had tons of old gameing systems for really cheap and a few of the newer ones as well. I picked up a copy of Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition for my Genesis and Daniel got Primal Rage and something else.. I forget. I saw Jurassic Park there as well, I was really tempted to get it and probably should have too, for a buck and a half, you really can't beat that. I'll have to go back there sometime...

Anyway after that we made it to Tangled Web. Which I found to be a SEVERE let-down, though we did both pick up a set of Magic core sets each. And then it was off to the mall with us where we looked around for his parents Christmas presents and Daniel made the Burberry lady spray that le awesome perfume on me. After that we met up with Aaron who gave me some canvases and money so that I could do this painting for his ex-gf Safi. And then I went to Victoria's and bought a new beraaa. And then we LEFT.

Um.. other than that I painted lots, and then on Thursday I went out with Sarah, John, Ben, Tony and Neel and had a kick time. We went to Ruby Tuesday's in the mall and ate and waited forever for Honey Mustard and I made a paper devil on the tablecloth...














After that we went to Neels house were his mother and father offered us sacrifices of nuts, cheese and chocolate on the alter of hospitality. And we watched the Last Samurai.. Good movie. Played life... Good game. And then did varrious things, like standing in the kitchen, untill someone decided they were hungry. It was then that the quest began.

We ventured into the freezing cold of the foggy night air towards Ben's car where I was to be the navigator. Problem 1. It took us longer to get there than Tony and Neel because I took the loong way there. But upon arrival we found the 24 hour establishment CLOSED. Closed with employee's inside and lights ablaze.. and thus we were pissed.

So we ventured back across the highway to the House of supreeme Waffles. Their food makes me sick though so I ordered a Hot Chocolate and a half slice of hot Apple Pie, which I should thank Ben for... with money, when I see him again.

Other than that.. nothing much more to tell.. though I think that was probably a good deal to tell. lol

I'm listening to: RENT- One Song, Glory

So, my Christmas shopping is completely finished... Finally. It's all wrapped and sent out where applicable. So now I can relax and commence with my savings which is good because my trip is looming closer every day. Not that that is anyway a bad thing, I'm looking forward to it of course. It does seem a bit more real now though.. and I've started to realize that I've got to get the more detailed bits of it in order.

Mom took me to pick out one of my presents early on Sunday so I got this big wheeled duffleque bag that collapses so I'll be able to stick it into my locker at the hostel. It's a really good size too I tested it and I can get a weeks worth of clothes into it and still have a ton of room left over. (Which I'll probably use for more clothes when I get them.)

Hum.. other than that I've been working (surpise). Oh and I went to see Rent with Daniel the other day, good stuff if I do say so myself. The only bad thing about it was the group of girls in front of us at the theater. They had on those stupid ugg boots and kept "OMG!"ing whenever the guys would kiss or they found out someone was a lesbian.

When we left the theater Daniel's car, Veronica, wouldn't let us freaking turn on the engine and THEN we couldn't get the key out of the ignition. So after sitting there for about 10 minutes messing with it I walked around in the freezing wind till I found a cop and had to convince him I needed him to come look at the car. Then of course when I got back with him Daniel had worked it out and the car was purring beautifully and I was left looking somewhat stupid and appoligized.

Then we went to Waffle House got some hash browns... had them covered had them smothered. And I'm pretty sure the people working there thought I was high because I started laughing hysterically at nothing. But that's okay.. I know I'm not a junkie. ^_^
